PASTOR - CHARLEY HATFIELD

We have discussed Jesus ENTERING Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.  We then continued, in retrospect, highlighting events where Jesus ENTERED the lives of individuals we read about in the Bible.  We then discussed how Jesus has, and continually, ENTERS our lives.  We discussed our response.

The Sunday After Easter we looked at the 2 disciples on the Road to Emmaus, as Jesus ENTERS their lives.  Luke 24:13-49.  We talked about:  Discouragement, Despair, Doubt, Disappointment.  Then:  Dialogue, Discovery, Jesus ENTERING our situation, and the Invitation for Jesus to ENTER, Revelation, Response.

The 3rd Sunday of the Easter Season, we looked at Jesus ENTERING the lives of the Apostles on the Sea of Galilee, (Tiberias), where he served them breakfast and restored their relationship with Him and their calling.  What needs to be restored in our lives as Jesus ENTERS our lives again and again?  Holy Communion is a meal of restoration.

The 4th Sunday of Easter we celebrated Mother's Day

This 5th Sunday of Easter we look at the implications of Jesus ENTERING the life of Paul on the Damascus Road and what that means to us.  The TUMC Choir will sing 2 Songs: "Jesus, Name Above All Names" and "Change My Heart O God, Lord Be Glorified Medley"
